Captain Hammer was played by Nathan Fillion in Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, during which he proved himself to be a collossal arsehole of epic proportions, but at least he and Penny totally had sex, before she died painfully (apparently, it's better the second time, you get to do the weird stuff). As a result of an accident involving a malfunctioning death ray, Captain Hammer has recently gained another ability, on top of his standard generic superhero powers. He now also has the ability to... Feel pain. He's never felt pain before, so he finds it a little difficult to deal with. Well... Incredibly difficult. He ended up seeing a counsellor and crying like a little baby. But, he's still out there, being a massive dickbasket, and trying to stop villains in their tracks, mostly so he can pick up attractive women.
As for the villains he faces? It's curtains for them. Lacy, gently wafting curtains...
Last but not least, give us your character's standard "holy shit, I woke up in a mysterious world for no apparent reason! What the shit is going on!?" intro post.
[Captain Hammer finds himself in an unfamiliar location. He's never been here before, obviously, which is why it is unfamiliar. Didn't you read the earlier sentence? No? Dick. Anyway, Captain Hammer finds himself in an unknown place. As he scans the room, he launches into his standard entrance song.]
Stand back everyone, nothin' here to see! Just imminent danger, in the middle of it... Nobody. Nobody's here. I'm alone with nobody to appreciate my obvious sex appeal and rugged good lucks. God damn it. Just my luck.
[Dejected, Captain Hammer sulks away, trying to find somewhere he can actually fight some crime, and look awesome. After all, what's the point in actually saving the world, if you can't look cool and pick up chicks doing it?]
