For reference: I'd use roughly the version that I had in A_fac and that I AU-ed for Aungier, aka bb!Russia (who is still bonkers, with what we know these days I retract my judgement from back when I reset him to the 1700s - just not as cray as later on).
Last but not least, give us your character's standard "holy shit, I woke up in a mysterious world for no apparent reason! What the shit is going on!?" intro post.
[He's never been in such a place before. It's strange and he gets the feeling that he's far away from home, but
really, who cares if it is warm and lively and there is free food for everyone? It's strange and far away, but it is a nice place. And while he might (will) be in big trouble for "running away" (even if he doesn't remember it) once he returns: Such is life and there is little that he can do about that now.
So what he'll do is get himself some food and then just go peoplewatching. He's too weak still to make friends, but that doesn't mean that he cannot enjoy being around people and watch them. This totally is not creepy behaviour, shhh.]
