Garth is a WIZARD/MAGE from the LAND OF ALBION ye old England times around the Victorian era when no one believes in MAGIC anymore so he just hides in a giant tower in the middle of the woods to do all his magic. He's a grumpy old man who has prolonged his years with magic and is pretty comfortable with being a huge grumpy snarky sassy dick to everyone he talks to because he is a motherfucking genius and everyone needs to shut up for five seconds and listen to him.
Barring that, they should just go get themselves in trouble so he can stomp over there and save their ungrateful hides because he is the Hero of Will, not by choice but by fate.
Except much dry deadpan snarking, unimpressed staring and begrudging acts of heroism.
Last but not least, give us your character's standard "holy shit, I woke up in a mysterious world for no apparent reason! What the shit is going on!?" intro post.
I refuse to believe this is actually happening. There is no possible way that any of this is actually real. The trees are made of wax for Light's sake, if that isn't a stark indicator of a fever dream I don't know what is.
