I'm going to call it that, though some people dispute it) RWBY. Blake is a Faunus, a humanoid race, with traits of animals. In Blake's case, this presents itself in the form of cat ears, and amber eyes, as well as a preference for fish. She wears mainly black, and usually covers her ears with a bow, as Faunus are often discriminated against. She used to be part of a Faunus rights movement, called 'The White Fang', however she ran away from them when they started becoming aggressive towards humans. Her weapon of choice is the Gambol Shroud. When holstered, it is used as a cleaver. When unholstered, it is dual wielded with the sheath used as a blade, and the pistol used as, well, a pistol. The pistol can convert into a sword, and is attached to a black ribbon, allowing Blake to make surprise attacks at considerable range. Blake's aura semblance grants her the power to create shadow clones in her nearby vicinity, which have some physical substance to them. These can be used to evade attacks, reach higher places, and generally confuse enemies.
Last but not least, give us your character's standard "holy shit, I woke up in a mysterious world for no apparent reason! What the shit is going on!?" intro post.
