Why the hell do you want to play here? Because the Tegwen made a big deal of it, and hell, I could use an new pastime. It's only my degree after all.
What other roleplays have you been a part of? Various bits. Most recentyl my Uni RPG society, which consists of one shot tabletops, and a very unique style of game somewhere between a LARP, tabletop and this.
What character do you want to throw into this nonsensical garbage? Simon Tam (Firefly)
Have you ever roleplayed them before? If so, post some links. If not, write some stuff about them. Simon Tam, what to say. An upstanding member of society, who is completely out of his depth anywhere outside of a hospital. Going to a corner shop would probably bring him to tears. Always manages to say exactly the wrong thing, particularly when it comes to people, particularly when it comes to females.
But hey, he can probably get by, right. Right? Ok, well, there's a good chance he can at least stay alive, I mean, being a medical expert has to count for something. Just as long as he doesn't have to hold a conversation while he's working, everyone involved will *probably* survive.
Last but not least, give us your character's standard "holy shit, I woke up in a mysterious world for no apparent reason! What the shit is going on!?" intro post.
Simon makes a noise, though it's hard to tell if it's the landing that caused it, or if he usually makes that sound when waking up.
Since leaving the relative comfort of the hospital, the beds have been pretty dreadful. But this definitely feels more like a floor than anything he's used to sleeping on.
Begrudgingly he opens his eyes, and though it's hard to tell from this angle, he's fairly certain this is somewhere new.
After 5 more minutes, he persuades himself to stand, and confirms this is some unfamiliar place. Why does this always happen to him.
